Sunflowers are known for being “Happy” flowers, making them the perfect gift to bring joy to someone’s (or your) day and it’s also our founder, Reginia’s favourite flower. To continue the spirit of Sunflower, Reginia started making jewellery to spread love. My Happy Sunflower was founded through a love of crafting, jewellery design, and ultimately our families and loved ones. In a city like Hong Kong where everything moves at an electrifying speed, every now and then we all need to slow down and remember the important things in life. Children grow up so fast! We were then inspired to capture memories such as drawings and handprints onto unique silver jewellery. Each piece is truly designed by you, and handcrafted by us.
Starting with a unique fingerprint silver Charm, My Happy Sunflower began the hand-made jewellery journey in Hong Kong since 2008, with only our founder Reginia. In 2008, My Happy Sunflower’s vision of developing a concept that clients could style in personal ways to express unique moments and style with their loved one’s prints and drawings.
In 2010, My Happy Sunflower opened its first fully owned art and craft pottery studio in WanChai, HK. We organised variety of art workshop and provided an environment that intends to encourage creativity through various art media for our community. We are dedicated to offer art education through pottery painting, pottery clay making and other handicraft to children, teens and adults in all levels of proficiency and committed to cultivate children’s creative potential.
Today, My Happy Sunflower Pottery Studio had sadly closed but still offers affordable, hand-finished jewellery made to the highest environmental and ethical standards. Our top designer Reginia spent months perfecting her techniques to ensure the quality of our jewellery have meet her high standard. Our customer could see their loved one’s prints and drawings have delicated captured on our jewellery.
Our designer was fully trained in the U.K. and Hong Kong, and has over 9 years of experience in fine jewellery craftsmanship. After starting a family of her own, she began to specialize in creating silver keepsakes with a unique, personal touch. We believe that when each piece of jewellery is crafted from the heart and carries a unique print or personal message, the silver seems to shine just a little brighter.
